THRASHING MACHINE RESTORATION
MARSHALL 54" THRASHING DRUM:
Found lying in a field in Woking Surrey. Belived to have originally been used by a Thrashing Contractor in the Dorking area. Purchased in 1980 along with the standing grass on the top of the machine, it was towed over the Surrey Hills home to Rudgwick, restored over the following months, it attended many rallies and shows towed by Field Marshall tractors for many years. Now after all these years it is now under
complete restoration. All metal side sheets are being replaced with new zintec sheets and most of the wood work now has to be replaced with new treated timber. This certainly is a job for 'purely the love of the machine', the amount of time spent on this is incredable.
